It’s okay to have those moments. Sometimes, even the brightest days have their shadows. If you’d like, I can share a short poem to lift your spirits:
Whispers of the Night
In the quiet of the night,
When stars paint the sky with light,
Embrace the shadows, let them be,
For they, too, hold a mystery.
The moon, a gentle friend above,
Listens to your heartache, your love.
Its silver glow, a soothing balm,
Guides you through the darkness calm.
Remember, like the night, you'll find,
That even in sadness, there's a kind Of beauty—a quiet strength that grows,
A resilience that only darkness knows.
So let the blue hues softly fade,
As morning's warmth begins to cascade.
Hold on, my friend, for dawn awaits, With hope and promise at its gates.

I will walk in the morning for about 10km and after this walk, I feel very good again and totally energized.
And now I just allow myself to listen to my Blues Records and Streaming and will slightly get tired enough for a long and healthy sleep, as Music Is The Language.

Location: Santa Clara River Reserve, near St. George, Utah
Distance: Approximately 1.2 miles (round trip)
Difficulty Level: Easy
Trail Description:
The Enepitsi Trail is an old pioneer road that runs along the Santa Clara River.
As you walk between the banks of the river and the cliffs of Land Hill, keep a sharp eye out for prehistoric petroglyphs and pioneer graffiti.
The lush vegetation near the water adds to the beauty of the walk.
The trail is family-friendly and suitable for dogs.
Please stay on the 2-track trail, as the surrounding area is private property.
Cultural Significance:
“Enepitsi” means “ghost” in the Southern Paiute language.
Ancestral Puebloans and Southern Paiutes lived in this area and are closely connected to the land.
The river corridor, which the Enepitsi Trail follows, was vital to both cultures and is protected as part of the Santa Clara River Reserve.
Access:
Start at the Tukupetsi trailhead.
Follow the dirt single track, then fork left onto an old dirt road leading into the river bottoms.
Keep an eye out for petroglyphs along the cliff face.
Directions to Trailhead:
From St. George, head north on Bluff Street for 2.1 miles.
Turn left onto Sunset Blvd and continue 4.5 miles through Santa Clara.
As you head up the hill toward Ivins, take the first left.
Follow the dirt road to the large parking area for the trailhead.
The Tukupetsi Trailhead is across the street from the parking area.
Enjoy exploring this beautiful trail and its rich cultural history! 🌿🌄🚶♂️🐾

I have decided to keep my desk tidy and neat and clean: And one place in my house, where I can read and relax and think! This is the place where I feel happy in the evening before I go to sleep …
And a daily routine:
What was good today?
What went not so good? Anything I could do or change my atomic habits?
Can I do better tomorrow?
Have I smiled at someone I do not know or hugged my wife or a child? Made a difference?
Any lesson learnt?
Kindly yours from an ex High School Teacher now retired and nearly 75 years old …

Happiness Report 2024
The fascinating world of happiness.
The Harvard Study of Adult Development:
One of the longest-running studies on happiness, this project has followed 724 men since they were teenagers in 1938. Approximately 60 men, now in their 90s, are still part of the study.
The researchers found that specific traits and behaviors were linked with increased levels of happiness:
Letting Go: As people get older, they tend to focus more on what’s important to them and don’t sweat the small stuff as much. Older adults are better at letting go of past failures.
Take inspiration from this study: Revisit activities that made you happy in your youth. Sing, play games, pursue hobbies—life is short, and happiness awaits!
World Happiness Report 2024:
Finland tops the overall list of the world’s happiest countries for the seventh successive year.
Notably, the United States has fallen out of the top 20 due to a large drop in the well-being of Americans under 30.
Separate rankings by age group reveal interesting variations:
Lithuania tops the list for children and young people under 30.
Denmark is the world’s happiest nation for those aged 60 and older.
