Meine grossen Themen des Lebens sind Bildung, Erziehung und Lernen ohne Ende!
Auch mit dem Thema ZEIT habe ich mich intensiver beschaeftigt! Im Lateinunterricht im Gymnasium lasen wir Texte von Seneca wie: De Brevitate Vitae – Wikipedia | Noch immer bin ich vielen meiner Lehrer und Lehrerinnen dankbar, weil sie mich auf den Weg des Lernens fuehrten! Geboren in einem Dorf mitten in Schleswig – Holstein war es alles andere als selbstverstaendlich in den 50er Jahren, in die so spannende Welt des Lernens eingefuehrt zu werden! Thank you, my dear teachers!
Geboren am 28. August 1949 war Goethe immer mein Stern und Vorbild – weil er am 28. August 1749 geboren wurde. Schon als Kind fragte ich mich: Wie war das damals hier in Deutschland / Italien / Europa vor genau 200 Jahren? Was ist ZEIT? Was hat er gesehen, erlebt und gedacht damals?
Was hat er geschrieben im Alter von 30 oder 40 oder 50 Jahren?
War Schiller sein Freund? Was ist Freundschaft?
Er war mir in vielen Bereichen voraus, genauer gesagt: 200 Jahre voraus!
Haette er heute ein Twitter Account? Eine Webseite? Oder einen BLOG?
Also Fragen ueber Fragen!
Auch viele Reisen und Dienstjahre im Ausland wirst du hier als roten Faden finden …

I will further continue to work on the promotion of the German Language and culture and people and business and more.
My background is German, but having lived and worked in Germany, Namibia and Australia for more than 40 years, I have always been an avid reader and active blogger though now retired.
I live mostly at the Gold Coast in QLD Australia, but visit my family and friends in Germany regularly every year: And I am still a German resident and citizen, but have acquired Australian citizenship as well: Thank you, Australia!
