It is situated along the borders of these two states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Scenic Rim region encompasses a diverse range of landscapes, including mountains, valleys, forests, and rural areas. It is known for its stunning natural beauty, picturesque views, and outdoor recreational opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Queensland, the Scenic Rim includes areas such as Tamborine Mountain, Canungra, Beaudesert, and the Lamington National Park. These areas offer a range of activities such as bushwalking, bird watching, rock climbing, and exploring waterfalls and scenic drives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the New South Wales side, the Scenic Rim includes towns like Kyogle, Border Ranges National Park, and Tooloom National Park. These areas are known for their rainforests, rolling hills, and abundant wildlife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides of the Scenic Rim offer opportunities for camping, hiking, horse riding, and experiencing the region&#8217;s natural wonders. Mount Warning, also known as Wollumbin, is an ancient volcanic plug located in New South Wales near the Queensland border. It is a significant landmark and holds cultural importance for the local Aboriginal communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The climb to the summit of Mount Warning is a popular activity for visitors, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape at sunrise. The hike is relatively challenging, but the rewarding views make it worthwhile. At present this walk is closed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area around Mount Warning is characterized by lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and pristine rivers.
