Zero Covid Strategy in NZ and Australia – all borders were closed and no flights to Europe.
Even the NSW border 12 km from our Gold Coast home was closed.
The Highway (Autobahn) was blocked – closed.

My parents visited us here once together for more than 6 weeks, my mother Annita lives in a small unit in Kiel in Germany and will be 96 in Sep 2022.

Dieser Text kam gestern aus Kiel, ich habe ihn mehrfach gelesen und dann habe ich nachgefragt: Wie kann sowas passieren und wer übernimmt die Verantwortung? Da stellt Dr Ulrich Fries nach dem Tod seiner Mutter quasi sein Elternhaus in Heikendorf einer sehr grossen Familie aus Kiel Eritrea (untergebracht durch die Stadt Kiel) zur Verfügung, doch das Haus liegt im Kreis Plön!
